Listing the achievments of Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi said, "Today MP has a strong road network of 5 lakh kilometers. Gwalior and Jabalpur terminals are being expanded to boost air connectivity. Similarly, state's rail network is being modernised, with cent percent electrification.

He said Rs 45000 Cr interlinking work of Rivers Ken and Betwa has started in Madhya Pradesh. It will give new strength to water management; also will help unlocking potential in Textile sector.

Three Ts-- Textile, Tourism and Technology have high potential. These three sectors can offer handsome returns and have the capacity to generate maximum employment.

PM Modi said that institutions across the globe have high hopes from India. The World Bank said that India will remain a fast-track economy. There are reports that say India is emerging as a supply chain.

MP is 5th largest state in population, best in agriculture, among top five in minerals and state is blessed by Narmada. The heart of India has all the potential to make it to the top 5 states of India.

Given its central location, Madhya Pradesh has high possibilities in logistics and warehousing space.

'Did Not Want Students To Get Stuck In Traffic,' PM Modi Apologies For Reaching Venue Late, Cites Class 10, 12 Board Exams

Addressing the crowd, PM Modi apologised for reaching the venue late. He said that board exams of class 10 and 12 started from today and he did not want to disrupt the traffic.

"Class 10, 12 board exams have started today. I wanted students to reach the exam centre on time and thus I decided to leave late, so to avoid any traffic."

PM Modi Inaugurates The Investment Carnival At 11:11am

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Global Investors Summit at sharp 11:11am on Monday. Foreign delegates from across 60 countries, top industrialist, businessmen and startup founders will attend the event.

Adani Group To Invest Rs 1.1 Lakh Crore in cement, smart metals

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani's addressal clip was screened during the event. He said that the group has already invested Rs 50,000 crore and he is proud to announce another investment of Rs 1.10 lakh crore in cement, mining, smart metals and thermal energy sectors. This multi-sector investment will generate 1.2 lakh jobs by 2030, said the business tycoon, while lauding PM Modi for improving India's image on the global platform.

He further revealed that the group is in talks with the state government for greenfield smart city project, which may lead to an additional investment of Rs 1lakh crore.

'Surplus Power, Abundant Land, Variety Of Raw Material' CM Mohan Yadav Woos Investors

Bhopal is among the cleanest capitals of the country. We have surplus power, ample sources of water and abundant land. A Medical Device Park in Ujjain is a testimony of Madhya Pradesh's success story.

More such facilities like semi-conductor park and IT Park will be set up to generate employment and add more pages of progress.

The state is improving across sectors. Destinations like Orchha, Datia, Bhim-Bhetka are attracting tourists in large numbers.

CM Mohan Yadav welcomed PM Modi and all the guests.

This event will help improve the city's image on a global platform. Earlier, when we googled Bhopal, it would dig into its dark past and show the 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy. But now the capital will be known for its brighter future—Global Investors Summit."

PM reaches venue

Prime Minister Modi reached the venue, accompanied by CM Mohan Yadav. He will inaugurate the event shortly.

Bhopal welcomes guests for 2-day investment carnival

Bhopal is all set to host a two-day Global Investors Summit starting Friday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event at Indira Gandhi Manav Sanghralaya (IGRMS) shortly.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has posted a welcome message for all the guests, investors, and foreign delegates participating in the event.

Sharing a clip of a decked-up Bhopal, CM Yadav wrote, "Welcome.... Most welcome. With love in our hearts, Madhya Pradesh welcomes all the guests "Atithi Devo Bhava."

According to information, business tycoons, top investors, and foreign delegates from across the globe will attend the investment carnival in Bhopal. Birla Group’s Kumar Mangalam Birla, Anupam Jain of Reliance Industries Limited, Grew Energy Private Limited’s Vinay Thadani, and Ralson Tyres Limited’s Rohit Kapoor will attend the event.

Several start-up founders will also be seen. Boat's Aman Gupta and Droom's CEO Sandeep Aggarwal are among other unicorn founders/co-founders to attend the investment fair.
