Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Urban Development Summit 2025 in Bhopal, witnessed several key figures like MP Ministers Kailash Vijayvargiya and Prahlad Patel, Union Civil Aviation Minister and chief guest K. Ram Mohan Naidu.
A notable highlight was the launch of the "MP EV Tarang Portal" by Vijayvargiya, Patel, and Naidu, aiming to promote electric vehicle adoption in the state.

Chief Guest K. Ram Mohan Naidu, the Union Civil Aviation Minister, highlighted Madhya Pradesh's transformation, noting unstoppable developments and the dedication of its people.
He encouraged investors, stating, "You are at the right place, at the right time, to invest in MP."
He praised the UDAN scheme, stating that it has made air travel more convenient. He highlighted Madhya Pradesh's potential in the aviation industry, noting its central location and favorable climate as ideal for aviation operations.
Naidu also shared insights into India's aviation sector growth, mentioning plans to add more airports, including one in Ujjain, and the success of the UDAAN scheme in making air travel more accessible.
He congratulated Chief Minister Mohan Yadav for organising the event and urged the younger generation to bring forth new ideas and startups, emphasising India's vibrant and leading role globally.
He said, "State me jo badlav ho raha hai, wo maine pehle kabhi nahi dekha. MP ke log committed hai aapko pura support dene ke liye. Jo bhi yahan aayega, wo yahan se bahut saara pyaar aur affection leke jayega."
"Ek interesting baat MP ke baare me ye hai ki yahan jo mujhe pyaar aur affection mila hai, usse lagta hai ki ye bhi mera hi state hai!," he added.
Naidu provided insights into the aviation sector's growth, mentioning the addition of new airports monthly and plans to continue this expansion up to 2047.

Prahlad Patel, the Minister of Rural Development, addressed the need for grassroots involvement in development.
He emphasised that effective progress requires engaging with gram panchayats and adhering to local regulations.
The summit underscored Madhya Pradesh's commitment to urban and rural development, inviting stakeholders to participate in the state's growth journey.
