Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The state government will set up a Fiscal and Economic Growth Council for the first time, combining some departments together.
The finance department is getting ready for the job. The subjects, like agriculture, horticulture, investment promotion, renewable energy, and debt management, will be included in the council.
The council will prepare a report on these subjects with the help of the departments concerned. The Chief Minister will preside over the council, and the experts of the subjects will be included in it.

The government will mull over the subjects included in the council, with the help of experts. The government’s aim will be to strengthen the financial condition of the state through the council.
The finance department will coordinate the council’s activities. The continuous rise in debt has become a cause of concern for the state government.
Through the council, the government will make efforts to reduce the amount of debt. The council will also see how to use the loans.
Along with investment promotion, agriculture and horticulture have been included in the council so that it can find a way for the financial development of all communities.
