Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday conducted searches at multiple locations linked to Jay Shri Gayatri Food Products Pvt Ltd in Madhya Pradesh. The action comes after complaints against the Morena-based company alleged malpractices, like-- exporting adulterated dairy products, forging lab reports to gain consumers' trust.
The raids began early Wednesday at nine locations, including the company’s headquarters in Morena, its manufacturing units in Sehore, and its offices in Bhopal. The premises allegedly belong to company directors Kishan Modi, Rajendra Prasad Modi, and others.

According to information, the agency has uncovered 63 falsified lab reports used to export substandard dairy products to at least 27 countries, including Bahrain, Hong Kong, Singapore, Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Several foreign agencies had previously flagged concerns about the quality of the company’s products, prompting complaints to the Indian government.
In Bhopal, ED officials conducted searches at the company’s office near Bitten Market, while another team raided the paneer manufacturing unit in Pipaliya Meera, located along the Ratibad-Bhopal road in Sehore. Security personnel accompanied officials as they examined records and ongoing production activities.
Raided by EOW six months ago
This is not the first time the company has come under scrutiny. Six months ago, the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) had also raided its premises over allegations of financial irregularities. Further investigation is underway, and ED officials are expected to release more details soon.
