Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A street dog was allegedly crushed to death by a car in a residential area of Bhopal.
The whole scene was recorded by CCTV cameras installed in the area. The footage is now widely circulating on social media and drawing criticism from animal lovers.

In the video, the dog can be seen standing in the middle of the road, possibly urinating, when a white Nissan car (number MP04 CM-6130) drives straight over it. The dog is seen going under the car, and the vehicle does not stop after hitting it.

The incident reportedly took place between 5 to 6 PM near Flat No. 302, Millennium Heritage in Kohefiza area of Bhopal.
A complaint has been filed at the concerned police station, along with a CCTV video as proof.
Locals, including Sunita Joshi and Satish Choutale, have submitted the complaint and urged the police to take legal action.
They have mentioned that this act falls under animal cruelty and should be punished under Section 325 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
They have requested the police station in-charge to take strict action against the car driver.
