Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the GG Flyover in Bhopal on Thursday. The flyover connects Ganesh Mandir at Habibganj Naka to Gayatri Mandir in MP Nagar. The stretch is said to be 2.75 kilometers long.
Constructed parallel to the railway metro line, the project began in December 2020. The project was managed and completed by the Public Works Department (PWD). The flyover aims to ease traffic blocking in the area and reduce the rush towards Misrod.

Better traffic flow expected
This new flyover is expected to improve traffic movement significantly, especially as it complements another flyover at Habibganj Naka. That flyover connects to AIIMS and RRL on one side and Barkatullah University and Hoshangabad Road on the other.
Officials believe the new infrastructure will provide much-needed relief to commuters in one of Bhopal's busiest areas.
