Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The twelve cheetahs, including five adults and seven cubs in the wild of Kuno National Park, are showing good adaptation skills to survive in wild conditions.

The adult cheetahs are doing regular hunting of prey for survival.

The pictures of them hunting the prey have surfaced on social media. The photographs clicked by the tourists and forest rangers show the wild cat aggressively running towards a deer in the jungles of Kuno.

The forest officials are happy to see the cheetah adapting to the new home, chasing the prey animal and hunting them to satiate their hunger.

More interestingly, the manner in which cheetah cubs are moving with their mother cheetah and showing the adaptability to wild conditions is also showing good survival skills, paving the future hopes for the cheetah project.

A dedicated team of forest officials is keeping a close eye on the cheetahs in the wilds all day and night.

All cheetahs are radio-collared, and their movement is being tracked to ensure they do not go out of range. Notably, two years ago, twenty cheetahs were brought from South Africa and Namibia. In due course of time, eight of them have died. Now 12 adult cheetahs are in Kuno.
