Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Prayagraj Mahakumbh-fame girl Monalisa Bhosle said that cameras used to scare her and she was very nervous when she faced camera for the first time during a promo shoot of her debut movie, The Diary of Manipur.
"I had never posed in front of the camera before. Lights, camera and so many people. I was nervous seeing everything. The heartbeat was so fast that I felt what will happen now,” she said.
The 16-year-old Monalisa who hails from Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh was in the city on Tuesday to promote her first music video, Saadgi, sung, written and composed by Utkarsh Singh.

She told media persons that earlier the camera used to scare her but now she feels that it was a friend. She said that director Sanoj Mishra played a big role in reducing her nervousness.
“He would repeatedly tell me, “Monalisa, you are the one who is loved by millions. Just spread your smile. His words reduced my fear,” she said, adding that he gave her tips on being comfortable in front of the camera, which gradually made her confident.
About planning to buy a house and settle in Mumbai, Monalisa said, "Yes, I like Mumbai very much and the people there are also very nice. I feel like staying here. Right now, I am saving money so that I can buy a house."
