Seoni (Madhya Pradesh): Bodies of two minor real brothers were found in the Ambamai forest area of Seoni district, Madhya Pradesh on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as 9-year-old Mayank Dhakriya and 6-year-old Divyansh, residents of Subhash Ward in the Kotwali area.
The children had been missing since July 15.

Mayank was a student of Class 4, while his younger brother Divyansh studied in Class 2. Their mother, a daily wage laborer, had lodged a missing persons report at Kotwali police station late on the night of July 15 after the boys failed to return home.
She has been living alone after separating from her husband nearly five years ago.
Following intensive search efforts, police recovered the bodies from the forest area on Thursday. During investigation, it was revealed that both children were brutally murdered, their throats were slit, indicating a planned and violent crime.
The accused had covered the bodies with stones to hide them. The bodies were found about 3 kilometers inside the forest valley.
A joint team of Kotwali and Dundasivani police recovered the bodies after interrogating a suspect. Dog squad and FSL team have collected evidence at the spot. Initial investigation has raised the possibility of involvement of an acquaintance.

According to Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar Mehta, the case is being thoroughly investigated. Kotwali police station in-charge Kishore Wamankar said that murder charges have now been added to the missing person case. The mother of the deceased children works as a labourer.
The police is claiming to solve the case soon.
