Bhopal(Madhya Pradesh): Students of the CM Rise Schools across the state will start their day with Mantra Sanchalan besides National Song and National Anthem recital during their morning prayer meet. All schools have been told to form a choir and a separate budget for it has been allocated, said the commissioner, school education Abhay Verma.
The SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) to run CM Rise Schools was released on Wednesday by the commissioner school education. “All CM Rise Schools have the same system including syllabus therefore SOPs on how to run these schools have been made and circulated,” added Verma.
A separate order has been issued by the commissioner school education that states that music instruments should be used in the morning prayer session. In the session, the National Anthem and National Song will be sung. Students will also do mantra sanchalan and learn voice modulations through mantras.
Schools have been instructed to form a separate choir for this purpose and allot a separate budget of Rs 40,000 per school to buy musical instruments like harmonium, a set of tablas and a synthesizer.
The SOP mentions that students should be prepared with Indian traditions in mind.
The SOP also mentions that students should be informed about the vision behind establishing the CM Rise Schools in Madhya Pradesh. Students should be informed about the facilities and opportunities they would get in these schools. Teachers have been asked to remain well informed about the scheme besides establishing cordial relations with the teachers.
Lot of emphasis has been given on conducting the morning assembly. Besides prayers other activities for personality development will also be organized. Teachers have been asked to create an environment where students of various groups mix with each other and know about their cultures etc.
