Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 32-year-old assistant professor at Bhopal’s RKDF Medical College was found dead in her room under suspicious circumstances, as reported by police on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Dr Richa Pandey. She completed MBBS from Jabalpur and MD Anaesthesia from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal.
She got married to Dermatologist Abhijeet Pandey just four months ago.
Her family members suspect a foul play and have accused her husband of murder.
FSL team collects samples
However, the husband has claimed that he is clueless about the matter and the room was locked from inside at the time of incident.
The police have registered a case in the matter and started an investigation into the case. A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) also reached the spot and collected samples.

Injection mark on deceased's hand
According to information, there was a mark of injection Dr. Richa’s hand which raised further suspicion.
Richa’s father, VC Pandey, is a superintendent engineer at UPRDC in Lucknow. Upon receiving the news, her uncle and his wife immediately reached Shahpura.
On the other hand, her rest of the family was on their way to Bhopal.
The police are currently examining all angles to determine the exact cause of death.
