Bhopal: Metro Official Eye RDSO Inspection Ahead Of July Launch

The RDSO team is expected to visit Bhopal soon to assess the metro train and its associated components.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Following the successful trial run of the metro train between Rani Kamlapati station and AIIMS station on Tuesday evening, officials from Madhya Pradesh Metro Train Corporation are now mulling to invite a team from the Research Design and Standard Organisation (RDSO) for an inspection.

The RDSO team is expected to visit Bhopal soon to assess the metro train and its associated components. Once RDSO completes its inspection, the next step will be to invite the Safety Commission team, which will review various safety measures of the metro project.

After receiving the green signal from the Safety Commission, the metro will be cleared for commercial operations. The first commercial metro service is scheduled for launch in July, and Bhopal residents are eagerly awaiting their first ride on the metro.

Another set of train arrives The Bhopal Metro project welcomed another set of metro train to the city on Tuesday, bringing the total number of trains to six. The ambitious project will feature two metro linesóthe Blue Line and the Orange Lineówith 28 stations planned across the city.

The Orange Line will connect Karond to AIIMS, while the Blue Line will run between Bhadbhada Square and Ratnagiri Trisection. The metro system will also include 14 elevated stations.The common depot for the metro trains is located at Subash Nagar, and the interchange station is in Pul Bogda area.
