Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In yet another incident, a man lost his life after being hit and run over by Bhopal Municipal Corporation’s Dumper on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, the victim was on his way to work when the speeding dumper hit him. As he was tossed on the ground, the vehicle ran over his stomach leading to his immediate death.
The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Subhash Vishwakarma, the sole breadwinner of his family, who worked as a driver.
On Wednesday afternoon, he was on his way to work as usual. This is when the dumper suddenly arrived and hit Subhash’s bike from behind in Bhopal’s Prabhat Square.
According to police, the dumper struck Subhash’s bike near a petrol pump. The impact was so severe that Subhash was thrown off his bike and fell on the ground. As the dumper was speeding, he came under its wheel, which crushed his abdomen. He died on the spot.
Driver fled the spot
Eyewitnesses rushed to help, but the dumper driver fled the scene immediately after the incident. The police have seized the vehicle and launched a manhunt for the absconding driver.
A case has been registered on the matter and the accused driver is being searched for.

Family under severe financial crisis
Subhash was the only breadwinner of his family. He is survived by his elderly and ill father and three sisters. His sudden death has left the family grieving and facing a severe financial crisis.
The grieving family is now calling for justice and support in their time of need.
Similar incidents frequent
Recently, a 7-year-old girl was run over by a dumper of Indore Municipal Corporation. She died on the spot. Locals and eyewitnesses alleged that the driver was speeding the dumper in the residential area. They also claimed that the IMC's vehicle did not have a number plate.
