Bhopal: Family Dispute Turns Violent, 3 Severely Injured

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A family dispute in Badhaipura area escalated into a brutal attack on Monday morning, leaving three people severely injured.

A woman, her mother and her brother sustained serious head injuries requiring over a dozen stitches each after being assaulted with a sharp weapon. Kotwali police said here on Monday.

Kashiram Kushwaha, in-charge of Kotwali police station said that the violence erupted following an ongoing marital conflict between Ravi Sahu and his wife. Seeking support, the wife had confided in her mother Ranjana Sahu and brother Amit Sahu, who then decided to visit Ravi’s residence.

However, the visit quickly turned into a violent confrontation. During the altercation, Ravi Sahu, his father and his brother attacked Ranjana and Amit with sharp weapons. All three victims were left injured, with the mother and brother sustaining serious head injuries.

The attackers fled the scene immediately after the incident. Kotwali police have registered a case against the accused, but key suspect Ravi Sahu, remains at large.

Authorities are actively searching for Ravi and his accomplices while the injured victims received medical care. Police investigations into the incident are ongoing and efforts are underway to apprehend the culprits and bring them to justice.
