Bhopal: CBSE XII results; Girls outshine boys in city

Bhopal: Girl students of the capital city have outshined boys in CBSE Class XII examinations. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared results for its class 12 examination held in February to March 2019. Girls have performed better than boys by 9.2%.

Zainab Saifi of Demonstration School topped in the city with 98.6%. Saksham Singh of St Joseph Co-ed School saved the sinking ship of boys, as he became second topper by scoring 98.4% in commerce stream. The third city topper is Palak Chauksey of Delhi Public School, she has scored 98.2% in humanities stream. In PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) stream, a girl has bagged the first position in the city. Divya Joshi of Vindhyanchal Academy has scored 96.8% in PCM.
