Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 24-year-old newlywed woman allegedly committed suicide at her residence in Rajiv Nagar on Monday morning. The incident occurred at 6 am shortly after a domestic dispute with her husband Aamir Khan MP Nagar police said here.
The woman was 2 months pregnant
According to police, the deceased identified as Farha Khan, who was two months pregnant and married in March 2025 reportedly hanged herself following an argument over her younger brother Fardeen’s social media interactions with Aamir’s niece.
The couple had a heated exchange before the incident
Sources said Aamir confronted both his niece and Farha over the issue, which led to a heated exchange. Aamir later arrived, scolded her again, and told her not to return. Despite this, Farha returned to her in-laws’ house at 5 am on Monday. An hour later, she was found hanging. Aamir informed her family and took her to hospital.
Woman's family suspects foul play
Farha’s family suspect’s foul play, alleging that Aamir delayed informing them, moved the body without police involvement, and caused her mental distress. Further action will follow based on the post-mortem report.
