Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here has launched One State, One Health Emergency Medicine initiative aimed at standardising emergency medical services across all hospitals in Madhya Pradesh irrespective of their location or size.
This transformative initiative ensures that high-quality emergency care is accessible to every citizen. By aligning treatment protocols with available resources, the programme brings uniformity to emergency response across the state and reduces healthcare disparities.

As part of this initiative, AIIMS Bhopal has been conducting a disaster management mock drill to train healthcare workers and medical students for real-life emergencies. The objective was to build preparedness and swift response capabilities during critical situations.
“Reaching every citizen of Madhya Pradesh with world-class emergency care is our mission. By adopting standardised protocols during emergencies, we can significantly improve life-saving efforts and reduce regional healthcare disparities,” AIIMS director Dr Ajai Singh said.
The One State, One Health Emergency Medicine initiative marks a pivotal step towards integrating and strengthening the healthcare delivery system throughout the state. It is expected to improve emergency care outcomes and benefit citizens uniformly across Madhya Pradesh, Dr Singh added.
