Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A 40-year-old man was saved by an alert sub-inspector in Gwalior after he suffered a heart attack and collapsed while riding his scooter on Wednesday.

Fortunately, Sub-Inspector Rajkumar Bauddh, who was passing by, noticed the crowd and stopped to help. Realising the man had suffered a heart attack, he immediately performed CPR and arranged for an ambulance to take him to the hospital, ultimately saving his life.

According to information, sub-Inspector Bauddh was on his way back to the Thatipur police station when he saw people gathered near a petrol pump at Padaav Bridge.

He stopped to check and found the man lying unconscious on the ground. Without hesitation, he began CPR, pressing on the man's chest to restore blood and oxygen circulation.

After a few moments, the man regained some consciousness. He identified himself as Ghanshyam Gaur, a resident of the Bahodapur police station area. He had been returning home from work when he suddenly lost control and collapsed.

On time help

Bauddh quickly took Ghanshyam’s family’s contact number and informed them about the situation. He then called an ambulance and ensured that the man was admitted to a private hospital for further treatment.

Thanks to the sub-inspector’s presence of mind and quick action, a life was saved just in time.
