Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Under "Operation Nanhe Farishte" 03 minor girls were safely rescued by RPF Bhopal and handed over to Gaurav Sakhi Center.

Assistant Sub Inspector Raghavendra Singh was on duty during regular patrolling at platform number 01, Bhopal Railway station. During this, he found three minor girls sitting in a scared state. Immediately he called lady constable Uma Patel and consoled the girls and tried to talk.

Despite enquiring from local passengers, no clear information could be obtained about the girls. After this, all the three girls were  brought to RPF post Bhopal by lady constable Uma Patel.

During interrogation, the girls told that they were angry with their parents' scolding in Delhi and had boarded an unknown train and reached Bhopal without telling anyone.

Their family members were contacted on the mobile number given by the girls and were informed about the entire situation.

As a part of further action, lady constable Uma Patel and in-charge constable Rakesh Kumar got the three girls' general medical examination done and handed them over to Gaurav Sakhi Center. The family members have been informed about this.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager  Saurabh Kataria said that 'Operation Nanhe Farishte' is being actively conducted continuously to help the minors, giving priority to patrolling, vigilance and safety of passengers in the railway premises.

Passengers are requested to immediately inform the RPF if they see any suspicious or helpless child in the railway premises.
