NueGo, the intercity electric bus service by GreenCell Mobility, has taken a big step in road safety by installing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in all its buses. From the beginning of its journey in 2022, NueGo has made ADAS a standard feature across its fleet, which now includes more than 275 electric buses operating in different parts of India. This move puts NueGo ahead of upcoming government regulations and shows its strong focus on passenger safety.
NueGo has strengthened its focus on safe and sustainable travel by adopting Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) across its entire fleet of electric buses. These high-tech features, including Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Driver Drowsiness Detection, use smart sensors, cameras, and radar to help drivers avoid accidents and keep passengers safe.

In addition to adopting ADAS technology across its fleet, NueGo has rolled out a series of thoughtful safety and comfort measures to enhance the intercity travel experience. These include mandatory alcohol checks for drivers before every trip, AI-driven driver monitoring systems, and a 24x7 command center that tracks each bus in real time. Women passengers benefit from exclusive “Pink” reserved seats and access to a round-the-clock helpline for added security. Live GPS tracking, onboard CCTV surveillance, and regular staff training further strengthen passenger safety. Clean and well-maintained rest stops have also been introduced along routes, underlining NueGo’s commitment to offering a secure, inclusive, and reliable travel service.
