Kia India has accepted bookings for its highly anticipated SUV, the Syros from January 3. Customers can secure their bookings either online or at Kia dealerships by paying Rs 25,000. The company plans to unveil the pricing for the Syros on February 1, with deliveries set to begin in mid-February. Touted as a next-generation SUV, the Syros is expected to bring advanced features and a futuristic design to the mass premium segment.

Kia Syros, positioned as a premium alternative to the Sonet, combines familiar powertrains with elevated luxury and cutting-edge technology. Offered in six trims- HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O)—the Syros caters to diverse customer preferences.

It boasts a robust safety suite with 20 advanced features, including 16 Level-2 ADAS functionalities, setting new benchmarks in active safety. The SUV introduces Kia Connect 2.0, enabling over-the-air software updates for 22 controllers, ensuring the vehicle remains up to date with the latest innovations. Inside, it offers a best-in-class 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display, a dual-pane sunroof, and 64-color ambient lighting. Adding to passenger comfort are rear seats with recline, slide, and ventilation features, complemented by an adjustable boot space for greater practicality.

Kia Syros stands out with its generous 2,550mm wheelbase, offering a thoughtfully designed interior focused on comfort and practicality. A segment-first feature, the sliding and reclining 60:40 split rear seats, allows for customizable boot space. Ventilated seats in both the front and rear ensure superior comfort, while a 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display with connected car navigation brings cutting-edge technology to the cabin.

Kia Syros offers a choice of two dynamic engine options to suit varied driving preferences. The lineup includes a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine delivering 120PS of power and 172Nm of torque, alongside a robust 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine that generates 116PS and 250Nm of torque. Both engines are available with manual and automatic transmission options.
