Hyundai has revised the prices of the Verna, increasing them by Rs 7,000 across all variants. With this adjustment, the sedan now costs between Rs 11.07 lakh and Rs 17.55 lakh (ex-showroom). This follows similar price hikes for other Hyundai models like the Aura, Creta, Tucson, and Alcazar.

Several automakers have raised vehicle prices in recent months, citing higher raw material costs and inflation. Hyundai had already increased prices earlier this year due to rising production expenses, logistics costs, and currency fluctuations. Some manufacturers have introduced further price adjustments this month.

The Hyundai Verna comes with two engine options, offering a balance of power and efficiency. The first is a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 113bhp and 143.8Nm of torque, available with a six-speed manual or an IVT automatic transmission. For those seeking more performance, Hyundai offers a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine generating 157bhp and 253Nm of torque. This variant can be paired with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT automatic for quicker and smoother shifts.

The Hyundai Verna offers a blend of premium features and modern safety technology. It comes with a dual 10.25-inch display setup, comprising a touchscreen infotainment system and a digital driver’s display, along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Comfort features include ventilated and heated front seats, ambient lighting with 64 colour options, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, and a sunroof.

On the safety front, the Verna has secured a five-star Global NCAP rating and comes equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child seat anchors as standard. Higher variants add electronic stability control, front parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The sedan also features an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) with functions like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and blind-spot monitoring to enhance driving safety.
