Citroen India has introduced an upgraded warranty policy, now offering a 3-year/100,000-kilometer standard warranty on all of its vehicles. This enhancement aims to boost customer confidence by ensuring greater peace of mind and reinforcing the company’s commitment to high-quality standards. The new warranty applies to all models, though the terms for electric vehicles remain unchanged.
Shishir Mishra, Brand Director of Citroen India, commented on the announcement: “Citroen’s mission has always been to provide Indian customers with vehicles that combine innovative design, comfort, and reliability. By introducing a 3-year/100,000-kilometer warranty as standard, we’re not just reaffirming our confidence in our product quality but also enhancing the ownership experience for our valued customers in India.”

Additional benefits include a transferable warranty that boosts resale value, access to genuine parts and expert service at authorized centers, and zero out-of-pocket repair costs. With this initiative, Citroën is prioritizing durability, reliability, and cost efficiency to strengthen its relationship with India's growing customer base.
Citroen India has recently increased the prices of its Basalt coupe SUV by up to Rs 28,000, depending on the variant. The largest price hike of Rs 28,000 is applicable to the Plus variants, which come with the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and are available in both manual and automatic transmission options. Meanwhile, the entry-level You variant, which features a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a manual transmission, has seen a price rise of Rs 26,000.

The Citroen Basalt lineup, available in three trims – You, Plus, and Max – with two engine options, has also seen price adjustments. The Max single-tone and dual-tone variants equipped with the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol manual transmission have become Rs 21,000 more expensive. The Max automatic variants, including the dual-tone versions, have experienced a price hike of Rs 17,000.
