The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) celebrated Pedestrian Day on Laxmi Road to promote a pedestrian-friendly environment today
As part of this annual event, vehicular movement was restricted from 10am to 5pm
Pedestrian Day seeks to promote walking, enhance urban mobility, and reduce traffic-related pollution in busy areas like Laxmi Road
Performers entertained the residents who had come to experience the vehicle-free day on Laxmi Road
Kids gathered at Laxmi road at to understand traffic rules through fun games
The road was decked up with beautiful rangolis to welcome Punekars
Shoppers also visited the street in large numbers to experience an unhindered shopping day
Kids enjoyed the day to the fullest as many schools brought students to experience the day.
PMC has celebrated Pedestrian Day on December 11th every year since 2011
