Preity Zinta's 'Magical & Heartwarming' Visit To Maha Kumbh

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta visited the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj to take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam

Preity described her visit to the Maha Kumbh as 'magical, heartwarming', yet tinged with sadness

Explaing why it was sad, Preity wrote on social media, "Because I wanted to be liberated from the various cycles of life & death only to realise the duality of life & attachment. Am I ready to let go of my family, my children & the people I love? No"

Preity wore a saffron salwar suit for her visit to one of the world's largest sacred gatherings

She later changed to a white salwar suit and red dupatta while taking the holy dip

"I came back with the notion that - we are not human beings having a spiritual experience but spiritual beings having a human experience," Preity further wrote

She also offered prayers at Triveni Sangam after taking the holy dip
