1. Revise smartly: The most important night before the board should not be spent cramming something rather focus on smart revision. Use flashcards or summary notes to quickly review key formulas, definitions, and important concepts.

2. Keep exam essentials: If students want to have a smooth morning, they should pack their admit card, stationery, and anything else they will need for the exam beforehand.

3. Avoid new topics: New topics being introduced at the last minute causes added stress and ambiguity. Instead, go over the key concepts, formulas, and notes that students are already comfortable with.

4. Eat healthy for dinner: Dinner should be light and healthy — a balanced meal rather than greasy or junk food that the student will regret later.

5. Avoid screen time: Limit screen time to about an hour before bedtime; use on phones or laptops, or TV watching may harm sleep quality.

6. Relax mind and body: Relaxation exercises such as deep breathing, meditation or gentle stretching help students to stay relaxed.

7. Try to get quality sleep: A good night’s sleep (7-8 hours) helps in consolidating memory and concentrating, so don’t stay awake too late.

8. Stay positive: Be positive and visualize how students would be able to quickly and confidently answer the questions in the exam. Trust your preparation, stay calm, get a good night's sleep and wake up feeling that you are going to give your best performance!
