Konkani Went Missing on March 6
According to reports, Konkani went missing on March 6 in Dominican Republic while she was on her spring break. She was staying at Punta Cana’s Riu Republica Hotel. She was last seen near the beach by the hotel before dawn, after she and her friends headed outside due to a power outage at the hotel.
In order to find her, authorities carried out massive search operations in the waters of the beach near the hotel where she was staying.
Her family reported that her belongings, including her phone and wallet, were left with her friends, despite her usual habit of carrying her phone at all times.
Konkani, along with five other female students, arrived in the country on March 3.
