Washington DC: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (local time) met SpaceX CEO Elon Musk in Washington DC during his US visit. Musk arrived at Blair House with his girlfriend, Shivon Zilis, and their three young children, after the meeting. The Prime Minister reportedly gave three books to Musk's children.
The three books gifted by PM Modi are - The Crescent Moon" by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, The Great RK Narayan Collection and Pandit Vishnu Sharma's Panchatantra.
The Prime Minister shared pictures of the meeting with the Musk family. In the pictures, the billionaire's children could be seen reading the books gifted by PM Modi.
"It was also a delight to meet Mr Elon Musk's family and to talk about a wide range of subjects," PM Modi said in a post.

Notably, Musk has 11 children, five with his ex-wife, Justine Musk. However, his first child with Justine reportedly died due to sudden infant death syndrome just 10 weeks after birth. The SpaceX CEO welcomed three more children with Claire Boucher, a musician. \
A Very Good Meeting: PM Modi
In another X post, PM Modi said that he had a "very good meeting" with Musk. The billionaire is in charge of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
"Had a very good meeting with @elonmusk in Washington DC. We discussed various issues, including those he is passionate about such as space, mobility, technology and innovation. I talked about India’s efforts towards reform and furthering Minimum Government, Maximum Governance," the Prime Minister said.
Later in the day, the Prime Minister met US President Donald Trump. Both leaders discussed various issues, including trade, defence, technology, energy, security, and people-to-people ties.
