US Man Cleans Snow Off His Car Using 3-Month-Old Baby; Faces Charges After TikTok Video Goes Viral

Texas: A viral clip has emerged on social media featuring a 25-year-old man from the US who is seen cleaning his car with a baby. Numerous individuals have voiced worries regarding the infant's health. The Port Arthur Police have charged him after the TikTok video featuring a man from Port Arthur who utilized a baby to remove snow from his Hyundai Elantra wen viral. The US man is charged with using a baby to wipe the snow off a car earlier this week amid the winter storm that hit Southeast Texas. The Port Arthur Police and Child Protective Services are both looking into a 25-year-old man from Port Arthur due to a viral TikTok video.

In the video, the man is shown gripping the baby's jacket with both hands as he clears several inches of snow from the windshield of a Hyundai Elantra. The man who was observed laughing pushed the 3-month-old across the car on the windshield clearing the snow.

A man from Texas could face legal consequences after being featured in a viral TikTok video where he used a 3-month-old infant to clear snow from a vehicle. Officials now view this as putting a child at risk. Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso told 12News that they won’t reveal the man’s name, but he expects an arrest warrant to be released next week by the Jefferson County District Attorney's office.

Chief Duriso told 12News that the event took place on Tuesday at the O.W. Collins Elderly Apartments amid the winter storm.

"It's a sad situation. I know a lot of people go to social media and they are looking for clicks... but this is not a a deal where you should put a baby on the windshield," Duriso said.

Duriso states that authorities were informed about the video and arrived the very same day to interrogate the man and assess the baby's condition. "He had two other females with him at the time. We suspect one of them was the mom. They checked on the baby. The baby was just fine," said Duriso.

Duriso states that investigators are continuing to examine the man's criminal background, but he is likely to face charges of child endangerment.

To the best of Duriso's knowledge, the baby remains with the parents. The man might be taken into custody as soon as next week. A spokesperson for CPS verifies that they are looking into the incident as well, but cannot provide any additional information at this moment.
