Pakistan Planned Post-Dawn Prayer Attack, But India Struck First With BrahMos: Shehbaz Sharif's Shocking Admission (VIDEO)
Sharif claimed India's "aggressive posture" provoked the conflict, stating, "When India attacked, we had no choice but to defend our nation." He praised Munir for advising ceasefire, adding: "I agreed we shouldn't escalate further."

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, currently touring four nations, made startling revelations about recent conflicts with India during his Wednesday address in Azerbaijan. While boasting about his government and military to Azerbaijani and Turkish leaders, Sharif inadvertently disclosed how Indian forces had pre-empted Pakistan's planned offensive.
Speaking at the Pakistan-Turkey-Azerbaijan trilateral summit in Azerbaijan's Lachin, Shehbaz Sharif made startling revelations. He disclosed that the Pakistani military had planned to attack India at 4:30 AM after Fajr prayers, but India preemptively struck multiple Pakistani military installations and strategic locations with BrahMos missiles before the scheduled operation. 'India destroyed Noor Khan (Rawalpindi) and Murid (Chakwal) bases before our planned attack time arrived,' Sharif stated.

This follows India's 6-7 May counterterror strikes in PoK under Operation Sindu. Pakistan's attempted retaliation failed against India's air defences, leading to a 10 May ceasefire. Sharif's overseas boasts come amid his "gratitude tour" to Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran and Tajikistan - particularly thanking Turkey and Azerbaijan for their vocal support during the conflict.
