In a shocking incident, the daughter of former Quetta commissioner Iftikhar Ahmed allegedly assaulted an air hostess on a Serene Air flight at Quetta Airport on Tuesday, March 18.

However, visuals of the assault surfaced a day later on Wednesday. According to reports, former Quetta commissioner Iftikhar Ahmed and his daughter, Saima Jogezai, seemingly in an intoxicated state, boarded flight number ER540 from Quetta International Airport to Islamabad. Both reportedly misbehaved with airline staff before boarding.

According to Daily Pakistan, Saima became agitated after the cabin crew asked her to fasten her seatbelt before takeoff and started verbally abusing the crew.

Seeing the father-daughter duo creating a scene on the plane, the pilot aborted the flight's takeoff and called security to have them deboarded.

Saima Jogezai refused to exit the aircraft and physically assaulted a female flight attendant. According to airline officials, the punch caused the flight attendant’s nose to bleed and broke one of her teeth.

After the assault, Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel detained both Saima Jogezai and her father. The airline management reported that following the incident, the Balochistan administration pressured them to resolve the situation.

The Quetta Commissioner promptly arrived at Quetta Airport, gathered information from the ASF about the incident, and instructed them to settle the matter.

Subsequently, the former commissioner and his daughter provided a written apology. Following this, they were allowed to leave without facing legal consequences. The injured flight attendant was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
