The Wildfire Status reports that six wildfires, including the Palisades fire, are 8% contained, the Kenneth fire is at 50% containment, the Hurst fire is 70% contained, the Eaton fire is anticipated to achieve substantial containment by Saturday afternoon, according to sources, the Lidia fire is 98% contained, and finally, the Archer fire remains at 0% containment.

California's firefighting department is engaged in combating the fires. Nonetheless, water hydrants have become dry or discharged water at low pressure, obstructing efforts. Kristin Crowley, chief of the fire department, condemned the city administration for insufficient or nonexistent water supply.
