Istanbul: South Korean social media influencer Mhyochi experienced physical and verbal harassment from an elderly man during a live broadcast in Kadıköy, Istanbul. The encounter, recorded by her phone, revealed the man's inappropriate proposal, asking, "Shall we have sex?" Initially interacting with viewers, Mhyochi was approached by the man who made sexual advances.

Acknowledging his words through viewer translations, she displayed discomfort, particularly at his hand gestures. After he groped her from behind, she firmly told him, "Sir, don't touch my butt, please, sir," and moved away, informing her live chat about the inappropriate touch.

The situation escalated, prompting her to flee as the man followed her. Viewers advised her to contact the police and find a nearby officer. The broadcast ended abruptly amid her distress. Subsequently, another video surfaced where Mhyochi was seen crying, highlighting the unsettling experience of being pursued. The incident resonated widely on social media, drawing attention to issues of harassment and the safety of women in public spaces.

In another incident, she was assaulted in Mumbai by two men who dragged her, kissed her, and evoked unwanted attention. The Mumbai police responded quickly, arresting the two for molestation. Following the video's virality, two suspects, Mobeen Chand Mohammad Shaikh and Mohammad Naqeeb Sadrealam Ansari, were arrested for allegedly molesting her during the stream. The Khar Police registered an FIR under IPC Section 354, despite reportedly not receiving any formal complaint from the victim. They took the initiative to investigate the matter further.
