Israel-Iran Ceasefire: 'Operation Rising Lion Is Over', Says Israeli Ambassador To India Reuven Azar
The Israeli envoy said that Israel has destroyed very important parts of the nuclear programme. “We know that the Iranians still possess some knowledge and materials that we won’t be able to destroy,” he said. “But what we have destroyed are very essential parts of the programme, without which it is impossible to assemble a nuclear weapon,” he said.

Operation Rising Lion is now over and ceasefire agreement with Iran is working so far, Israel’s Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, said, speaking to CNBC. He also said Operation Rising Lion has been "largely achieved" and Israel has significantly weakened Iran’s nuclear capabilities, setting the programme back by “many years.”
Azar said as part of Operation Rising Lion, Israel had “decimated” critical parts of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.

The diplomat further said, America had also bombed Fordow, another key nuclear establishment.
The Iran-Israel conflict, began on June 13 and ended with a ceasefire on June 24.
According to Iran, over 600 civilians were killed. In retaliation, Iranian missile and drone attacks on Israeli cities left at least 28 people dead, according to official figures.
