Headteacher Hits Colleague On Head With Spanner; Shocking Incident Caught On CCTV

London: A shocking incident surfaced from the United Kingdom, where a headteacher hit a teacher in the head with a wrench. The incident was caught on CCTV and the video surfaced online. The accused has been identified as 54-year-old Anthony John Felton.

The incident took place at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Comprehensive School in Neath Port Talbot on March 5, reported The Independent. However, the video surfaced on Friday.

The video shows Felton came from behind when Richard Pyke (51) was doing his work on a laptop. He then took out a wrench hidden in his jacket and stuck Pyke on the head.

Pyke sustained head injuries and was rushed to a hospital. The prosecution stated that Felton shit Pyke as he believed the victim had slept with another teacher with who he is in a relationship, reported The Independent.

Meanwhile, the defence reportedly counsel argued that the accused was aggrieved by the death of his mother and also due to a cancer diagnosis. However, the judge stated that Felton attacked Pyke out of jealousy.

The accused has been sentenced to two years and four months of imprisonment. The restraining order was passed on Friday, April 25.
