US: At Least 11 Injured In South Carolina Beach Town Shooting In US (VIDEO)

South Carolina: At least 11 people were injured after an unknown assailant opened fire in a South Carolina beach town in the United States. The incident took place at around 9:30 pm (local time) in Little River.

After the shooting, dozens of police cars and ambulances rushed to the spot. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals.

Authorities did not release any information about the suspects, reported The Associated Press.

Several videos and images from the spot surfaced online.

The shooting took place near the Intracoastal Waterway, about 32 km northeast of Myrtle Beach.

After the incident entire area was cordoned off. A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter.

Washington DC Shooting:

The shooting in South Carolina took place days after a Chicago resident opened fire outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington DC. Two staff members of Israeli Embassy were killed in the firing incident. According to Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, Yaron had recently purchased an engagement ring and had planned to propose next week. “They were a beautiful couple,” Leiter told The Times of Israel. “The young man purchased a ring this week with the intention of proposing in Jerusalem.”
