Astrology Prediction: Gautam Gambhir’s Coaching Journey Destined For Glory Or Controversy?

Gautam Ghambir an international cricketer needs no introduction. He was born on October 14, 1981 at 10.28 pm at Delhi. His rise began from the year 2005 and he finally announced his retirement from cricket in the month of December 2018. Thereafter he plunged into politics by joining BJP and also won the LS elections in the year 2019.

Gautam’s chart shows the Gemini ascendant and his career picked up in his Moon dasa placed in the sign Aries. His Moon dasa began from September 2006 and ended in September 2016. His retirement from cricket and entry into politics was when the Mars dasa was on from September 2016 to September 2023.

Now the dasa is of Rahu from September 2023 to September 2041. In the Rahu maha dasa and Rahu antar dasa he even announced his retirement from politics in the month of December 2024 as he expressed his desire to concentrate in his career in the field of cricket.

In 2022, Gautam Gambhir joined the Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as a mentor. Under his guidance, the team reached the playoffs in both the 2022 and 2023 IPL seasons. In late 2023, he left LSG and returned to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as a mentor for the 2024 IPL season leading the Team to their 3rd IPL Title in 2024. On July 9, 2024, Gambhir became the new head coach of the Indian national cricket team succeeding Rahul Dravid.

His first major assignment as head coach was the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, where Team India emerged victorious, winning the trophy for the 3rd time, and won their first ICC title under his leadership.

Now, what is the future holding for him? His next dasa will be of Rahu/Jupiter from May 2026 to October 2028. During this period, no doubt that he will rise even more as he will head some national or international cricket association in the year 2026/2027.

However, this tenure will also be filled with controversies. His Jupiter though placed in the sign Virgo and casting its aspect on the 10th house (Pisces) of profession and status, it is conjunct the planet Saturn lording the 8th house of controversies.

His Jupiter is also in the star of Mars signifying the 6th house which again

signifies strife and controversies. This period as a coach/mentor there will be serious differences with captains, players and the support staff of the teams.

Under his leadership as a coach there will be few matches which will be lost. In July 2024, when its was Rahu/Rahu, he was appointed as the head coach of India for three years till 2027 ODI cricket World Cup. The ICC T20 World Cup presents a new challenge.

With Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja’s absence, Gambhir must work with the fresh faces and build the most balanced team that will defend the silverware for India.

To conclude, his upcoming dasa of Rahu/Jupiter will be filled with challenges where under his leadership as coach for India, he will face stiff resentment from the captains of various cricket teams and there will be major setbacks in the future. Quite a few important cricket matches will be lost and his leadership abilities will be questioned.
