On Friday, ISRO shared the video of how Chandrayaan-3 rover ramped down on the moon's surface in a soft landing, creating history and making India proud. About Chandrayaan-3 moon mission

ISRO launched Chandrayaan-3 on July 14 this year and the country's lunar mission embraced success, as desired, on August 23. It made a soft landing on 6.04 pm, making Indian proud.

The success inked the country's name in history for being one of the only four nations to have made it to the moon. Others who have made soft landings on the moon are the United States, China, and the former Soviet Union.

People were able to watch the live telecast on the space event on their phones as facilitated by ISRO. As Chandrayaan-3 landed on the south pole of the moon, people celebrated with claps and whistles. Several people on Mumbai's railway stations paused their activities to witness the moment; visuals from the same went viral on social media. Certain temples offered special pujas and aartis to express gratitude to God over the success of India's moon mission.
