Old Woman's Terrifying Bridge Crossing Shocks Netizens, Bokaro DC Orders Quick Repairs After Video Goes Viral

Jharkhand: A viral video has stunned netizens in which an old woman was captured crossing highly damaged river crossing bridge in Bokaro district of Jharkhand. Balancing out herself on a worn out iron bridge an elderly lady crossed the bridge safely but a single mistake could have costed her lifetime impairment. The video went viral on social media and raised concerns over safety and security of the villagers. The power of social media was once again tested and the DC of Bokaro, Ajay Nath Jha odered for quick repairs.

What could have been ignored by letters and demands was done with a single video on the Internet. The video which was posted by @dineshwar_15261 has sparked concerns for the woman and has already reached 39K views on X. In the viral video half of the bridge can be seen in bearable condition but the other half is only remained in ruins and iron bars.

Terrifying Bridge Crossing:

An old lady in the video can be seen walking on the iron bridge which is highly damaged. Terrifying walk starts with old lady stepping on the rusty iron rod in the middle of the bridge, she continued to walk while balancing herself holding onto the bent railing of the bridge.

@dineshwar_15261 mentioned Bokaro DC's official handle on X and requested for the probe. He wrote, "Hon. Deputy Commissioner @BokaroDc Sir, through a video, it is being reported about Champi in Bokaro district that villagers are facing a lot of difficulty in commuting. An elderly grandmother can be seen struggling to cross. Please take cognizance of the matter. @HemantSorenJMM It is requested that necessary steps be taken as soon as possible in view of the situation."

Bokaro DC Ordered For Quick Actions

In reply to the viral video, Bokaro DC, Ajay Nath Jha informed on the development of the cause. He wrote, "@dineshwar ji, I have directed the Petarwar BDO to immediately prepare an action plan regarding a detailed report of the matter and the resolution of the problem. Johar."
