In a Bollywoodesque reunion, a momo stall in Noida turned out to be the reunion place for Bihar residents Nishant Kumar and his brother-in-law Ravi Shankar Singh, who wanted to do his good deed for the day. The missing man was ironically found by the same person who was accused of abducting and killing him.

Singh, a resident of Naugachia in the Bhagalpur district, was out to have momos in a stall at Noida Sector 50 when he spotted the stall owner chasing away a beggar in tattered clothes. Feeling sorry for the beggar, Nishant bought momos to feed the hungry beggar and thought he looked familiar.

Missing relative spotted in Delhi

Singh struck a conversation with the beggar and was shocked to know when he introduced himself as Nishant Kumar, son of Sachidananda Singh, a resident of Dhruvganj, Naugachia.

Singh immediately clicked a picture of the homeless person and sent it to his relatives who confirmed that he was indeed the same Nishant who was presumed dead after he went missing from his in-law's house in Sultanganj’s Gangania in January 2023. Interestingly, Singh and his father were accused of kidnapping and murdering Nishant by his father.

Singh promptly called up the local police and informed them of the development.

After establishing Nishant's identity his brother-in-law Ravi Shankar Singh hopes to get justice. "Now there is hope that we will get justice from the court and the court will take legal action against whoever is guilty,” he was quoted as saying in media reports.
