India Vs Pakistan: COO Of Edtech Platform Declares Half-Day Leave For Employees To Celebrate Men In Blue's Victory, Asks Team To Party All Night
Rohit Gupta, Co-founder and COO of an edtech platform named College Vidya, declared a paid half-day leave for all his employees. He notified the move on LinkedIn while terming the Ind vs Pak match as a festival which deserves celebration.

An Indian COO declared a half day on February 24 letting his employees party all night and attend the office directly in the second shift.
Paid half-day leave
Rohit Gupta, Co-founder and COO of an edtech platform named College Vidya, declared a paid half-day leave for all his employees. He notified the move on LinkedIn while terming the Ind vs Pak match as a festival which deserves celebration.
"Party non-stop"
On match day, he promised his team about work compensation and said, "Ind Vs Pak is nothing short of a festival for Indians! I want to celebrate it BIG!!... So I am announcing a PAID Half-Day Leave for the entire College Vidya Family if India wins". "Pray your way, wish India win, party non-stop", the post read further.
Later, when the Men In Blue won the cricket match against Pakistan, alongside Virat Kohli recording another 100 in his career, Gupta asked his team to join the office in the second half with a relaxed mind.
Soon after India won the game, the COO kept his promise and announced a paid half-day leave.
"Log in for the second half, fully recharged..."
"India won and so does my College Vidya team. Are you ready to party? Cause this one's on me. And College Vidya family has tomorrow (Monday) first half off! It's official! Party all night, sleep in, and log in for the second half, fully recharged and ready to give your best performance. You deserve it, team", he posted.
Gupta's impressive gesture towards his employees has gone viral and won the hearts of the internet.
