Horrific! 42-Year-Old Man Shot Dead During Facebook Live Stream In Chicago; Disturbing Video Goes Viral

Final moments of a man were captured when he was streaming live on Facebook, as the 42-year-old was shot dead mid-stream. The incident took place in South Austin, Chicago, a few blocks away from the police station. Chicago police are investigating the fatal incident. The video, which is going viral on social media platforms, shows Kevin Watson, 42, getting out of his car during a live stream. Seconds later a gunfire can be heard.

Chicago police reported that the shooting happened around 6:14 p.m. Wednesday in the 5000 block of West Madison Street in South Austin. Watson was sitting in a car when another vehicle approached and someone inside began shooting, CPD said. The Cook County Medical Examiner confirmed the victim's identity.

Watson's family and friends have been left in mourning after his final moments were captured on Facebook Live. All of it unfolded right after Watson left his cousin's job at a nearby liquor store to begin his Facebook Live in his car.

The video was posted by @CollinRugg on X. The post reads, "NEW: Chicago man shot and killed while on Facebook Live, becomes the second person killed on that block this week. Horrific. 42-year-old Kevin Watson was seen on camera talking about a parking dispute when a driver approached him. Watson then got out of the car on the 5000 block of West Madison Street and told the thugs to take his chain. He was immediately shot."
