Hathras: UP Car Driver Runs Away From Petrol Pump Without Paying For Fuel, Yanks Off Nozzle Of The Machine In Hurry; Watch Video

Hathras, Uttar Pradesh: A shocking incident came to light on Thursday at Shri Balaji Fuel Station located on Jaleshwar Road in Kotwali Hathras Gate area of Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh where a car driver after filling 31 liters of petrol in his car not only fled without paying but also uprooted the nozzle of the petrol pump and took it with him. This entire incident was captured on the CCTV cameras installed at the petrol pump.

According to petrol pump workers, the car driver asked the staff to fill his car's tank. As soon as the tank was filled, the driver suddenly pulled out the petrol nozzle and fled with the car. This sudden incident created panic at the petrol pump. The employees immediately chased the car, but the driver managed to escape.

The petrol pump workers immediately informed the Kotwali Hathras Gate police. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and chased the car driver. About 2 km further, the police found a broken nozzle of a petrol tank on the road, but the driver had already fled beyond the reach of the police.

The petrol pump operator has lodged a written complaint in this matter at Kotwali Hathras Gate. The police are now trying to identify the car and the driver on the basis of CCTV footage. The police are hoping to get important clues in the investigation from the CCTV footage.
