Linguistic conflicts are heating up in Maharashtra as several visuals are surfacing on the Internet of MNS supporters beating migrant from other states for refusing to speak Marathi. Ever since, social media outrage is booming against physical assaults. A new video is now making rounds on the Internet of a Haryana man named Manu Sharma asking a Marathi worker to speak Haryanvi. Later in the video, on an unexpected end note, the man smiles and breaks the tension by a powerful message of unity. The video is receiving praise across the Internet but some are also accusing that the video looks scripted and the Marathi man is not actually Marathi.

In what appears to be a distressing video, the Haryana man emotes a powerful message of acceptance. In the viral video, Manu Sharma called out in the field where few men are working, "Who is from Maharashtra, come here." A worker walks to him and he asks him from which village he belongs, on which the worker replies, "Nasik."

"It's Your Country, Do Whatever You Want"

Further, the Haryana man asks him to speak in Haryanvi. As the Marathi man could not speak in Haryanvi, the man said, "Nahi aata? Fir yaha kaise aaya? Yaha kaise kaam raha hain? (How you came here if you don't know how to speak Haryanvi? How can you work here?)" As The tension starts brewing, the Haryana man takes an unexpected turn and with a big smile says, "Chal thik hain, tu nahi kaam karega toh aur kaun karega. (Oh, its okay, if you won't work here, then who will?)"

His smile lightens the tension and he goes on to say, "Do whatever you want, you're living in India." The powerful message is now turning into applaudes on the Internet.

Haryana Man Is Not The Owner

As the video started surfacing on the Internet, netizens claimed it as the conversation between owner and his worker. Many news reports mis-quoted the Haryana man as owner of the field. While Manu Sharma opened up on the claims and said, "Ghalat quote mat karo bhai.. I am not owner of this place.. It is temple ground."

Divided Reactions By Netizen

Even though a bunch of netizens are praising the heartwarming video, some of them are calling it a scripted act to get views and also accusing the Maharashtrian guy who is shown in the video is actually not Marathi. One user said, "No Marathi from Nashik (Nashik) will pronounce it as Nasik,"s" comes in the flow of Hindi speaking people replacing "Sh " s has to be pronounced from the tip of the tongue which Hindians struggle with. This is all scripted."

Another user said, "North Indian making scripted video for their own happiness. Nashik is one of India's richest agricultural districts. Because of this, people from the district don't even migrate to Mumbai or Pune. Why would they go to other states?"
