Gujarat: 14-Year-Old Rajkot Boy Dies After Being Hit By Water Bottle Thrown From Mumbai-Bound Train
Badal and one of his friends were playing near the railway tracks. According to local media reports, a passenger on the first coach of the Veraval-Bandra Terminus train threw toward the rail tracks from a speeding train. It unfortunately hit Badal on his chest and killed him.

A 14-year-old boy named Badal Santoshbhai Thakur was fatally hit by a water bottle thrown from a moving train in Gujarat's Rajkot. Badal was playing near the railway tracks when the bottle suddenly struck him with force. He immediately lost consciousness and was declared spot-dead.
The incident was reported from the Shapar-Veraval area of Rajkot on Monday. Badal and one of his friends ventured near the railway tracks after playing in a nearby garden for a while. The boy's fun time turned tragic on Eid day when a bottle filled with water forcefully hit him and led to his death.
Bottle hits boy's chest

Police case registered
The Shapar police registered a case of accidental death and are investigating the matter, reported Desh Gujarat. The boy's body was sent for a forensic post-mortem at Rajkot Civil Hospital to figure out the exact cause of death.
Badal was identified as the only son of his parents. The family had roots in Madhya Pradesh but ran a business in Gujarat for over two years. The deceased's father reportedly ran a fabric business in Rajkot.
