Farrukhabad (Uttar Pradesh), July 31: A shocking video has surfaced on social media in which bank employees are seen doing recovery after the cashier of Bank Of Baroda in Uttar Pradesh handed over ₹10,000 to a customer instead of the ₹1,000 that was requested. The video of the recovery is going viral on social media and the video shows the bank employees threatening the elderly man for the excess amount given by mistake.

There are reports that the incident in the Kotwali Fatehgarh area. As per reports, a bank cashier accidentally handed over ₹10,000 to a customer instead of the ₹1,000 that was requested.

The mistake came to light during the routine cash reconciliation process at the bank. When the cash balance was checked, a shortage of ₹9,000 was discovered. This led to a stir in the bank and the staff immediately started investigating the matter.

Soon, it was confirmed that the extra money had been given to a customer who lives in the Bholepur area. A team of bank employees visited the account holder’s home to recover the money. Out of the ₹10,000 given by mistake, the account holder returned ₹5,200. He informed the bank that the remaining ₹4,800 had already been spent.

A video of the bank staff collecting the money from the account holder went viral on social media. The video shows the elderly man sitting on the road and the bank employees are threatening him to return the money. Another man is seen sitting beside him who is also seen asking the man to return the money.

However, after a long and fiery argument in the middle of the road, the elderly man removed cash from his pocket and handed it over to the employee. The man then counts the cash and finds out the money is less. He then asks the man to return the remaining amount, however, the man said that he has spent remaining ₹4,800.

There are no reports of any police action in connection with the matter. There are also no reports on the man assuring the bank to return the remaining amount of money. He owes ₹3,800 to the bank after deducting his ₹1,000.
