In an act of deep compassion, industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani during the padayatra from Jamnagar to Dwarka stopped next to a poultry van and rescued broiler chickens being transported in it. He asked his associates walking along with him to purchase the birds and save them from being slaughtered.

Anant Ambani's empathy towards animals and birds is a known fact and this particular gesture of his is earning him a lot of praise. In the video available on social media, he was heard, saying in Gujarati, "Ha badu bachavile. Ha badu leyle. Malik ni paisa dede (Save this poultry. Purchase it. Give money to its owner)".

While the exact location where Anant Ambani came across the poultry van is unreported, the video surfaced from his recent walk on the roads of Gujarat.

In the video, the businessman and Vantara's visionary, Anant was seen holding a chicken pulled out of the poultry van. He spoke to someone from his team, purportedly his manager, asking him to purchase all the livestock on the van and save them from a dark fate.

Holding one of the chickens in his hands, he tried saving an entire lot of poultry from being transported to meat stores. He pulled out a bird (chicken) carefully, holding it gently and decided to save the entire lot which appear to be in dozens.

Several internet users posted this clip showing Anant Ambani expressing his concern for these lives.

Anant Ambani Padayatra in Gujarat

Anant Ambani is currently on a 140-km walk in Gujarat and is likely to cover 10-12 kms per day. He is said to have already covered 60 kilometers so far after embarking on the trip on March 28.This padyatra comes ahead of his 30th birthday, which is on April 10. The younger son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani looks forward to celebrate his birthday with the darshan of Lord Dwarkadhish in Dwarka after walking all his way to the temple.
