Panyame Wildlife Conservancy, located in Mozambique and known for its cheetah reintroduction project, is grabbing sudden attention through its recent social media post, which is actually about a job opening at the conservancy. The position is for a full-time cheetah monitor to track and monitor cheetahs across the thousands of hectares of land. Even though the requirements of the mentioned position are normal from a normal corporate perspective, netizens have misunderstood it in a different way and are now pouring hilarious comments on the post.
Hiring Full-Time Cheetah Monitor
On July 15, Panyame Conservancy posted on Instagram about the job vacancy for a monitor and analyzer for cheetahs in the conservancy. The job position mentions tracking and monitoring cheetahs and feeding and taking care of them in the bomas. It also mentions working closely with anti-poaching teams.
In the requirements for candidates section, the post asks candidates to be fluent in English, physically fit, and bush-ready. It also asks candidates to be confident in Excel and data handling. While the post adds that knowing Portuguese and Shona languages is a bonus.
