Apple is gearing up for its annual fall event in Cupertino. The tech giant will introduce the iPhone 17 lineup, and its most premium model- the iPhone 17 Pro Max - is expected to feature three notable enhancements that may distinguish it from the rest.
According to a report by 9to5Mac, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is rumored to include a new anti-reflective display, offering reduced glare and enhanced visibility under bright lighting conditions. This feature may improve usability in sunlight, potentially delivering a matte-like experience akin to Apple’s existing nano-texture glass technology.
Furthermore, the iPhone 17 Pro Max model is anticipated to pack the largest battery in iPhone history, with a design slightly thicker to accommodate the additional capacity. The enlarged battery should support extended usage, particularly relevant for users engaged in intensive tasks or prolonged screen time.
Camera upgrades are expected to include a significantly improved front-facing TrueDepth camera, with resolution rising from 12-megapixel to 24-megapixel. The telephoto lens is also expected to receive a major boost, upgrading from a 12-megapixel to a 48-megapixel sensor, which may enable features such as stronger zoom capabilities.
Additional rumors related to the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max variants include support for increased RAM, updated A-series chips, and a revised camera housing design. Past rumours also suggest a physical shutter button that will help control the camera functions like zoom, focus, brightness, and a lot more.
