Social media platform X has now introduced the ability to turn photos into videos using Grok AI through a simple one-click method. This new feature was introduced by X CEO Elon Musk, who shared the news of its rollout on the platform itself. This enables users to easily convert photos into video without the need to upload a photo in Grok. By long pressing the photo and clicking on the 'turn to video' option, the image is automatically uploaded on Grok and turned into a video in seconds.
How to use the new one-click photo into video feature on X?
Download Grok if you haven't already. Register yourself and do all the formalities of signing up before trying this new feature on X.
Also, ensure that your X app is updated to the latest version on App Store or Google Play Store.
Once all of this is done, long press on any photo that you see on your feed.
From the options that show up, click on 'Make video with Grok'.
The Grok app will open up and the photo will be uploaded. In seconds, the video will be generated with 4 alternate audio options.
Grok Imagine is currently available for free for a limited time for all users. This features allows users to create six-second videos through prompts or images. This new X-integrated feature works only if you have the Grok app downloaded on your device.
As mentioned, it is important that all users update their X app to the latest version to be able to use this feature. Musk recently announced Grok 4 with new capabilities, and smarter enhancements last month. He has confirmed that Grok 5 will be released by the end of this year.
Grok came under the fire for enabling creation of explicit content using 'Spicy Mode' and is also banned in Turkey for speaking ill about the country's President.
